Huge thanks to everyone who donated, shared the campaign, and bought a ticket for the Trek bike draw, and a special shout out to Trek, whose match funding doubled the impact!
We were thrilled to recently hand over the Trek Fuel EXe 8 GX AXS T-Type to the winning ticket holder, Lesley Carus, who also runs a Trails Association in Edinburgh (Trail Wild MTB). We are thrilled that the winner of the raffle is someone who puts so much into the trails themselves!

Lesley Carus, Winner of the Trek Bike
“I bought a couple of tickets because protecting, maintaining and developing our Scottish trail network is a cause that I am passionate about. To win this amazing bike is unbelievable – I am delighted!”
Thanks to your generosity, the campaign along with our existing regular donators, raised OVER £5000 in donations, and with £5,000 of match funding from Trek, we now have OVER £10,000 available in the Scottish Trail Fund.
We’re delighted to announce that the fund is now open for applications from trail associations, local groups, and communities across Scotland.
Graeme McLean, Head of DMBinS said
“Thanks to the generosity of Trek, this was a huge opportunity to give back to the trails that give us so much. We’re seeing an increasing number of passionate trail groups stepping up across Scotland, and this funding could provide the tools, materials, and support they need to keep trails running at their best.”
