The Braveheart Cycling Fund is delighted to announce the recipients of grants for the Spring 2026 Awards.

 Arabella Blackburn: (Track / Road / Cyclocross) World and European Junior Team Pursuit Champion 2025; Women’s Junior Individual Pursuit European Championship Bronze Medallist 2025; Women’s Junior Madison British Champion 2025

Educated at Lathallan School in Kincardineshire, Blackburn was a nominee for the school’s Sports Personality of the Year in 2024. She was discovered by her school PE teacher and has balanced her rigorous training schedule—which includes endurance rides and gym sessions—with her studie

 Xander Graham: (Road / Cyclocross) Scottish MTB Champion; Scottish Road champion; Scottish Cyclocross champion; Scottish TT champion; British Cyclocross National UCI trophy series 2nd; April 2026: Vuelta Sevilla (Spain): Finished 15th in the General Classification and 5th in the Young Riders Classification.

 Elliot Rowe: (Road/Track) 1st Stage 2 Tour de l’Avenir; 2nd U23 il Lombardia; 3rd Coppa Citta di San Daniele; 3rd U23 National TT championships; 6th GC Peace Race

“I’m honoured to be part of the Braveheart Foundation this year.”

Elliot Rowe is a high-potential Scottish cyclist transitioning rapidly from junior success to U23 prominence. With major results such as a Tour de l’Avenir stage win and podiums at national championships, he is widely viewed as a future WorldTour prospect and a rider to watch in both road racing and track endurance events.

Melanie Rowe: (Road/Track) Flanders 1st; European Youth  Olympics Road Race 3rd; National British Road Champs 1st; National British Omnium Champs 1st; National British IP Champs 1st  

In her first year as a junior, she secured second place at the Women’s CiCLE Classic, winning the sprint for the podium. She also won the opening round of the Alba series at the Gifford Road Race.

 Sarah Tait (Bike Trials): 3 x Scottish Champion; 4 x British Champion; 1 x BIU Scottish Champion; 8th Place UCI World Youth Team event; 3rd Place BIU European cup

Sarah Tait is a rising Scottish cycle trials rider—one of the standout young athletes in a niche but highly technical discipline of cycling. A role model for female riders in a discipline with historically low representation

 
Morvan Yeoman (Road)  3rd Overall Peaks two day National Road race 2024; 2nd Capernwray National Road race 2024;  38th overall & 9th under 23, Tour de Suisse, Women’s World Tour race 2025; 14th Elite British National Championships, 9th under 23 2025; 3rd Otley National A criterium 2025. 3rd place at the 2026 Women’s CiCLE Classic

Morven Yeoman is an exciting British rider with DAS–Hutchinson, known for her strength on tough, hilly terrain. An all-rounder with a growing presence from National races to Women’s WorldTour level, she continues to progress through the professional ranks. In 2025, she played a key support role at the Tour of Britain Women and later stepped up as a GC contender at the Tour de Suisse Women, highlighting her development as a stage racer.
