The Braveheart Cycling Fund is delighted to announce the recipients of grants for the Summer 2026 Awards.

Eve Fairbairn: (Track / Road) is a promising young Scottish track and road cyclist from Dundee. A former Discovery Junior Cycling Club rider, she joined Liv Cycling Club–Halo Films for the 2026 season.

She has won several Scottish youth and junior titles, including sprint, omnium, points race and scratch race championships. She also earned a silver medal in the Youth Madison at the British National Youth and Junior Track Championships.

Eve Fairbairn’s top achievement so far is likely helping Scotland to set a new British record in the team pursuit in December 2025. Alongside Zara Main, Millie Boothman, and Izzy Barbour, the team finished with a time of 3:35.164.

“I’m incredibly grateful to receive this award. It will help me make the most of every racing opportunity and continue chasing my goals. Thank you for your support.”

Gus Lawson: (MTB) Gus Lawson is a promising young Scottish cross-country mountain biker who races for Pedal Power RT. He has won British youth titles in both cross-country and short-track mountain biking, along with several National Series rounds. His performances earned him selection for the Great Britain Cycling Team’s Olympic Development Squad. He also competes in cyclo-cross and internationally, making him one of Scotland’s leading young off-road cycling prospects.

“I am honoured to receive the grant from the Braveheart Foundation. This will allow me to participate in more European competitions, which will be brilliant for my development.”

Lottie Wardrop: (Road/Track) Lottie Wardrop, also known as Charlotte Wardrop, is a promising Scottish track sprinter who rides for Glasgow Track Racing Club and the Great Britain Cycling Team’s sprint programme. She made her international debut in 2026 and won bronze in the junior women’s team sprint alongside Eve James, Amelia Kuffour and Bronwen Howard-Rees, with the British team defeating Czechia in the bronze-medal contest at the European Track Championships. She also competes in sprint and keirin events at the Scottish and British national levels.

Thank you so much for selecting me for an award; it’s going to be really helpful for accessing races and training towards the end of this year!”

Morven Yeoman (Road)  Morven Yeoman is a promising Scottish road cyclist, born in 2004, who races for DAS–Hutchinson, a British UCI Women’s Continental team. She began in youth cyclocross before developing into a strong road-racing all-rounder, particularly suited to demanding, hilly courses and stage races.

Her major breakthrough came in May 2026 when she won the women’s Rapha Lincoln Grand Prix. Yeoman attacked during the race and then defeated teammate Noémie Thomson on the steep, cobbled Michaelgate finish. It was her first National A-level victory. She is presently in the lead of the British Cycling National Road Series.

“I can’t thank you enough for this support really means so much”
