Scottish Cycling Foundation Welcomes New Chair and Trustees

The Scottish Cycling Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Iain Gulland as its new Chair, alongside Malcolm Patterson, Jackie Whalen, and Sarah Wylie as new Trustees.

The appointments bring additional leadership, experience and expertise to the Foundation as it continues its work to create opportunities through cycling and support riders, clubs, communities and projects across Scotland.

Iain Gulland joins the Foundation as Chair, providing strategic leadership to the Board of Trustees and helping to guide the charity through its next phase of development. His appointment will support the Foundation’s ambitions to increase its impact, develop new partnerships and strengthen its long-term sustainability.

They will work alongside the existing Trustees Kathy Gilchrist, Fiona Cockburn, Mark Fraser and Lesley Ingram-Sills to support the Foundation’s governance, fundraising and future programmes.

“The Foundation has an important role in helping more people benefit from cycling and supporting talented riders to achieve their potential. These appointments strengthen our Board and will help us build on the progress already made as we look towards an exciting future.”
