2026 Braveheart Cycling Fund Dinner & Ride

Our annual Braveheart Cycling Fund Dinner & Ride sponsored by CR Smith is taking place on Saturday, 24 October 2026 in Stirling.

This special event is the Braveheart Cycling Fund’s main annual fundraiser and helps us continue supporting talented young riders as they develop and progress in cycling.

The day will begin with our Braveheart Cycling Fund Ride starting at Wallace High School, followed in the evening by the Braveheart Cycling Fund Dinner at the Stirling Court Hotel. The dinner will include our popular auction of cycling and sporting items, and we will also announce the winner of the 2026 Braveheart Cycling Fund Trophy.

We are pleased to offer two rides this year, The Brave Ride and the Heart Ride. Join former Braveheart riders and special guests as we explore the roads around Stirling.

The Brave Ride

The Brave Ride is our headline sportive challenge — a 58 miles and 3360 feet in elevation – journey through some of the finest countryside surrounding Stirling and the Ochil Hills.

With the iconic National Wallace Monument providing a fitting backdrop to the start of the adventure, riders head out from Stirling towards the Ochils and into the quiet roads and rolling countryside of Clackmannanshire and Perthshire.

The route continues north towards the picturesque village of Dunning, around the halfway point, before turning for home. Along the way, riders can enjoy expansive views across the Ochils and the surrounding countryside, with some wonderful views back towards Stirling and its historic landmarks.

The Heart Ride

The Heart Ride is a scenic 32 mile circular route, offering a rewarding but more accessible alternative to our longer Brave challenge.

Starting and finishing in Stirling, the route heads out into the beautiful countryside beneath the Ochil Hills, following quieter roads through the surrounding villages and farmland before making its way back towards Stirling.

At around 32 miles, it’s an ideal choice for club and leisure cyclists looking for a manageable sportive challenge, as well as riders stepping up to their first longer organised ride.

A new challenge with wonderful scenery, historic Stirling as its backdrop and the National Wallace Monument overlooking the area, there’s plenty to enjoy along the way.

Ride information: Registration opens at 8:30. The Brave Ride starts at 9:30, and the Heart Ride starts at 10:30. We will email a ride packet to participants before the ride.

After the ride, join us for a fantastic evening celebrating cycling, supporting talented young riders and raising vital funds for the Braveheart Cycling Fund.

Tickets are £65 per person, or £620 for a table of 10.

It is always a fantastic occasion, bringing together riders, supporters, families, friends, and guests from across the cycling community to celebrate young riders’ achievements and support the next generation.
